Some of the questions ask for your opinion on the DFIR world. Give it freely! Your entry and the survey are not connected, so feel free to be honest in your opinions.
The book
I am buying the book via Amazon for your time to take this survey. This is not a homework project, thesis, or white paper that I am doing. This is to get practitioner opinions on their tools, training, education, and hiring in the DFIR field which I will share openly on dfir.training.
I’m covering the taxes and shipping of the book as well. It is also your choice to have a print copy, Kindle, or PDF if the book you chose is available in that format.
Note: Amazon does not ship to some countries (you probably already know if this is your country). If you win a book and Amazon will not ship, the book will have to be an electronic copy.

The survey questions
The questions lean a little to the “DF” of the “DFIR” equation, but the questions apply equally to both sides. Ediscovery folks fit in the survey as well.
Extra credit for the giveaway
You get a bonus of 5 extra entries if you share the survey on social media. You get 1 extra entry for completing the survey. That comes 6 extra chances to win one of the books of your choosing.
This is how the winner will be chosen: each entry needs just your email address, which I convert to a unique number. If you have 6 entries, you will have 6 unique numbers. The unique numbers are fed into an online random choice website. That’s it.
The winner must respond to the email within 3 or 4 days after the drawing, otherwise, I go to the next winner.
